With Markforged Mark One, you can 3D print parts that are as strong as 6061 aluminium!
Mark One Fiber Extruder
Markforged’s first-ever 3D printer, the Mark One, was and is still an amazing machine. With it, you can 3D print parts that are as strong as 6061 aluminium.
To achieve this amazing feature, the Markforged Mark One has two extruders: One of those extruders is dedicated to printing nylon, while the other is dedicated to printing a fibre, or a composite. This system is incredibly reliable and we have seen engineers use the Mark One for thousands of print cycles without issue. However, the Mark One’s Fibre Extruder does degrade over time and it can ‘let go’ after extensive use.
If yours has done the same, then you will need a replacement Fibre Extruder. Swapping out the old extruder with the new one takes around 10 minutes and the new extruder should last you through several hundred print cycles at the very least. By changing out your old extruder for a new one, you can have confidence in your Mark One to deliver consistent prints every time.
Suitable for: Mark One, Mark One Professional and Mark One Standard printer.
